I have been taking a part of a wonderful market for the holiday season!
This upcoming weekend will be our last weekend, so if you live in Grand Rapids, Michigan or close enough come out this weekend and see fantastic work by your local artists!
MARKET (presented by Avenue for the Arts)
"Annamarie Buller is at it again! This holiday season she has hand selected 20 prime local artists for a pop up Artists Market to be located in 10 Weston (the former Little Bohemia, right off of S. Division).
The Market is skillfully scheduled to coincide with TWO downtown events: Holly Jolly and Urban Lights!
We will be Open for Business:
Friday, December 2: 5:30pm- 9:30pm
Saturday, December 3: 12:00pm- 8:00pm
Friday, December 9, 2011- 5:00pm- 10:00pm
Saturday, December 10, 2001 12:00pm-6:00pm * not all artists will be in attendance..
So mark your calendars, come out, have a good time and support local and independent artists, designers and crafters!

Phono & Company a local clothing company out of Kalamazoo/ Grand Rapids with comfortable lightweight fashions for men and women.
Cheri Aciniega and Ashely Lieber will be showing a variety of paintings, eco art, ornaments, and living plants.
Cristina Torres-Campos displaying handmade felt/fabric creations including recycled brooches, magnets, dollies and hairclips!
Margaret Farratell of ME & MR Glass will be featuring a variety of glass ornaments, tiles, recycled glass bowls and platters made from wine bottles.
Reuben Garcia and Madeline Law will be displaying ornaments, unique Christmas Tree’s and a variety of other surprises!
Tiffany Hall will be displaying her jewelry.
Randee Jensen will be displaying her crocheted hats and objects.
Casey Jo Lockman will be showing her paintings on canvas, original artwork prints, hand painted skateboards, and vintage suitcases hand painted with Lockman’s art.
Tom Parker of Transfer Magazine will be selling various additions of the magazine.
Erick Pichardo will be showcasing original mixed media paintings, digital photography, and limited edition postcards.
Fredy Santiago will be displaying original artwork prints and postcards, art dolls and t-shirts.
Rayna Schofield will be featuring a variety of handcrafted accessories including: wristlets/purses, pillows, scarves, coasters.
Brenda Sipe-Donahue will be showing her hand painted silk scarves and polymer clay birds as well as some smaller paintings.
Teamwork Bags a local design duo create bags from salvaged sails and tire tubes. A utilitarian approach to the transportation of your life.
Brenda VanDyke will be featuring handcrafted jewelry and gifts. Including necklaces, pendants, bracelets, earrings, rings and gem trees.
Dani Vilella will be showcasing hand knit items including fingerless gloves, artisan felted purses and bags, winter accessories, and kitting themed Christmas ornaments.
Mike Wolf will be displaying t-shirts that help fund local creative projects in Grand Rapids Michigan.
Mercy Leatherwork will feature a variety of leather bags, bottles holders, belts, cases, hats, wallets and journals.
HOLLY JOLLY is a two day event focused on local shopping, a window display competition, and free trolleys that will be shuttling guests to participating retail sites. Day One of HollyJolly begins on Friday, December 2 immediately following the community program and lighting of the tree outside the Grand Rapids Art Museum at approximately 5:45pm. Trolleys will be running to increase accessibility to local retailers from 5:30pm-9:30pm. There is a trolley stop at Weston and Division right by our location as well as at Cherry and Division.
Day Two of HollyJolly begins with children’s programing at the Grand Rapids Art Museum and Schuler Books. At Noon the Holly jolly expands to a citywide partnership including the business districts of downtown, Uptown, East Grand Rapids, the small businesses of Breton Village and AK Rikk’s. Trolleys will be running from 12:00pm-6:00pm, with all participants remaining open until 8pm.
URBAN LIGHTS, presented by the Avenue for the Arts is the following weekend on Friday, December 9 from 5:00pm-10:00pm. Urban Lights is a local artisans market in various storefronts on Division between Weston and Williams on Division.”
